In your "A Band Apart" quiz, you said that Alabama WHITMAN was a character in a Quentin film. I am asking in which film this character appears, because I remember a character mentioned in Reservoir Dogs named Alabama, but neither Mr.White or Joe said her last name. And in True Romance, her last name was Whirly, like Clarence's. Please tell me if they mentioned her original first name before she wed Clarence and that is it, or if she was a character in something else like Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, Natural Born Killers, etc.
Thanks
CMT Answer:
I got her last name out of the IMDB listing for True Romance:
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0108399

It's a cheat, I didn't actually grab it from the end credits of the movie itself or from actual dialog, but IMDB is usually very good so I trust it. I looked at another site to verify for you, and they list her last name in the movie as Whitman as well:
http://www.aclasscelebs.com/patriciaa/filmo.htm

If you come across any proof to the contrary, like a screen grab of the actual end credits, make sure to let me know and I'll change it.

What location were the hunting scenes filmed in The Deer Hunter, 1978? We NEEED to know.
Thank you, Linda
CMT Answer:
Here are all the filming locations for Deer Hunter as listed at imdb:
http://us.imdb.com/Locations?0077416

They probably shot on a number of the sites listed for the hunting scenes,
but hope the list helps narrow down the specific place you are looking for.

I’m trying to locate the title of an old sci-fi movie. 50’s. had flying brains that would wrap the spinal cord around your throat and choke you to death. Any help in finding the title would be great. Thanks in advance
CMT Answer:
This looks like it could be the flick you were after, 1957's"The Brain From Planet Arous"
http://us.imdb.com/Title?0050210

There's even a picture at this 50's sci-fi page:

CMT Answer:
I believe it was a 1977- the movie was also released that year. There are heaps of web pages for modellers and die-cast collectibles of the car and they all list it as a '77.

On one of your "zillionaire" questions asks - who won the best actor oscar in 1993 - The correct answer is Tom Hanks not Al Pacino - in fact, pacino wasnt even nominated. Thanks!
CMT Answer:
The question is unclear and I have changed the answer choices. The question is "Who won the Best Actor award at the 1993 Oscars?" At the Oscars that were held in 1993, Al Pacino did indeed win the Best Actor award for 1992's "Scent of a Woman". Here is the listing in IMDB:
http://us.imdb.com/Pawards?Pacino,%20Al

Were the question "Who won the 1993 Best Actor Award", Tom Hanks would be the correct answer as he won it at the 1994 ceremony. The question is admittedly vague, especially with both Hanks and Pacino as choices so I will remove Hanks as a possible answer.

Thanks for your feedback, and if you come across any more questions that seem incorrect please let me know.

T erminology question:
Do you know what it is called when an actor says the moive title of the movie in the script? i.e. In Minority Report: the actor says " I want to see the 'minority report' "
CMT Answer:
That's a good question, and if there is a term for it I've never heard it. I did a little snooping on the web but couldn't find anything.
If you do come across anything, let me know- I'd be interested to hear as well. (Answer-Page-Reader's Note: If you know the answer to this, please let me know)

Could you tell me what percentage of movies made are westerns? Please!!! Quickly? Thank you!
CMT Answer:
This is a very difficult question to answer. Are you comparing against all movies worldwide? Hollywood only? All-time? Include shorts, animations, etc?

IMDB lists 7309 movies as westerns, and has approximately 350,000 titles in their database (which includes international movies, shorts, tv series etc.) Going by these numbers, roughly 5% of the titles in their database fall under the genre 'Western'.

Who was first chosen before Harrison Ford, to play Indiana Jones?
CMT Answer:
The one actor I had always known who was chosen to be Indy was Tom Selleck, but couldn't because of "Magnum P.I" commitments (much like Pierce Brosnan being unable to take over 007 after Roger Moore retired due to Remington Steele). However, doing some further checking I found Nick Nolte also had a chance to don the hat and whip but turned it down.
