In
the movie "A Beautiful Mind", did the real John
Nash make a cameo appearance as the elderly man who initially
approached and was qualifying John Nash for the Nobel
Prize?
-Victor Kushida |
CMT
Answer:
I couldn't find any evidence that points to him having
a cameo in the movie. IMDB, which usually sports a very
complete cast list, does not list John Nash in the credits-
even as an uncredited actor. Usually if someone of note
has a cameo or appears in a movie, even if they are not
credited in the movie itself, IMDB will have it listed.
I also did a Google search and came across no pages that
mentioned John Nash having a cameo, so my answer would
be that no, he did not have a cameo in the movie.

know the name of the movie where a woman is able to shoot
ping pong balls from a certain part of her anatomy?? We
seem to remember all you see are the legs from the view
over the head..I think she may even be shooting them out
a window..any thoughts!! We're stumped!!

Answer:
I believe the movie you are after is "Priscilla,
Queen of the Desert". Here's one link to a page where
someone did not appreciate that scene, but they do recount
it:

What
film was released first in Australia "Trainspotting"
or "Shallow Grave"?
-Dan |
CMT
Answer:
From IMDB I found that Trainspotting was released
May 23rd, 1996, however I could not find a release date
for Shallow Grave. I went to the official site of the
company that produced the film, http://www.figmentfilms.com,
to see if I could contact someone there but the site has
not been updated for some time and lists "The Beach"
as their next big upcoming release. Other than that extensive
Google searching turned up no release date for Shallow
Grave, so I'm sorry but I cannot answer your question.

What
song was Sean Connery humming(or singing) at the end of
the film.."The Man Who Would Be King"?.
-Pooka |
CMT
Answer:
I believe the song you are after is an Irish ballad
called The Minstrel Boy. You can get info on the song
and if you have the Quicktime music plug-in (free download),
you can also listen to the song here:

Was
there ever a movie made without any music? My sons music
teacher bet them that there is not . Thank you for your
help.
-Conklin |
CMT
Answer:
"The Blair Witch" project did not have any
music in it. There is a kind of music over the end credits,
but none in the film itself. Here is a page relating to
the lack of music in the movie:

How
many men were killed in the first Rambo movie?
-Leigh Stevens |
CMT
Answer:
I'm
sorry I couldn't find an exact answer for you so I wouldn't
know without re-watching the movie. It's quite low- one
page I came across had an 'approximate body count' of
4, which sounds about right to me.

Was
the cemetary in "The Good the Bad and the Ugly"
a real one or created for the movie?
-Gail |
CMT
Answer:
I
believe it was created for the movie. The name of the
cemetery in the flick is "Sad Hill", and a search
on Google only turned up pages related to the movie. If
a famous place is used in a well known movie, there is
usually a large number of pages about or referencing the
site.

a family. It'll be like she didn't exist?"
-Margaret |
CMT

It
sounds like the Godfather Part II. A senator is found
with a dead prostitute, and gets into debt with the Corleones
after they cover it up for him.

In
the movie Breakfast Club, what did Brian try to kill himself
with?
-Linda Robles |
CMT
Answer:
He
tried to kill himself with a flare gun which was found
in his locker at school. Here is the related movie dialogue:
Allison: "A handgun?"
Brian: "No. It was a flare gun. It went off in
my locker."
Everyone tries unsuccessfully not to laugh.
Brian: "It's not funny!"
More laughter.
Brian: "Yes, it is." He laughs.
